Overview for 2006
A fantastic
year! Caeles was breeder of the year, we had IG of the year in males and bitches
and stud dog and brood bitch of the year.
On the top
10 IG list caeles either owned, bred or handled 8 out of the 10 Igs listed.
Xtra & Joey IG female and male of the yesr going BOB-BOS at
NKK Drammen
Xtra, Ch
Caeles Fly Me too The Moon, was the star of the year winning Speciality Best
in show over her half brother Justin, Caeles Just Incredible who was BOS
under sighthound specialist Inna Estrina from Russia.
The previous
day at the norwegian sighthound speciality Xtra went BOB and her sire Cassidy
was BOS.
Justin took
the male cac’s both days while Laila, Soltar’s Eugenios Boheme, a bitch
Margret was handling took the bitch cac’s both days.
Joey went with
Kari-Anne to a 4 day show in Brøndby in Denmark where he finished his Danish,
Nordic and International championship going BOB and Group 4 one of the days
under Leif Lehman Jørgensen.
On another trip
to Denmark, Kari-Anne got 2 new danish champions on borzoi Ch Aria’s Satchmo At
Le Sphinx and her afghan hound Ch Moving I’m The Man, who later in the
summer went to Sweden to be shown by handler Marc Linnèr where he finished his
swedish and nordic championship titles.
We went to
several showtrips this year.Kari-Anne went
to crufts together with Jo Amsel (Artmeis), Pat Spencer (Rilloby) & Lillian
Barber (La Scala) where they ended up winning nearly everything, including BOB.
We also went to
San Fransisco in oktober to the annual Italian Greyhound Speciality, there were
2 IG speciality shows along with lure coursing and racing on a straight track
and we also went to an all breed show where our fellow Norwegians Espen Engh was
judging the IGs and Åge Gjetnes was judging afghans and whipptes.
The European
winner show that year was hosted by the Finnish kennel club and we met there
where we showed 2 IGs, both got excellent, and Joey was placed 2nd in open
class.

A grandbaby of
ours was BOS and a new European Winner, Multi Ch Un Diamant Noir Des Princes De
Kazan, sired by Neptune Mio Bello Vincitori from Kari-Annes first litter.Margret showed
Portinbo’s Lille Gunda and took the cac.
On that trip we
met with Sirpa Niskanen who came to deliver little Bling who was going home with
us to Norway.
We both handled
several dogs for others, Kari-Anne handled Twan-San-Yen Dignity Mirabella to her
norwegian championship.
KC and Bella, a new Norwegian champion, BOB and BIG-4 in Bærum
She also
handled her older sister Ella (N S Ch Twan-San-Yen Lordly Marcella) to several
BOB and group placements.
 
Margret
handled Soltars Eugenios Boheme to her championship, as well as chinese cresteds
Eugenios Apollon, Eugenios Nougat Bonbon & Portinbo’s Lille Gunda.
Caeles
Just in Case, from the justin litter finished her championship, she’s done very
well in Tromsø with several Group placements.Her sister
Tingen was also strong in the Group and has several Group placements.
